In the morning it was raining and it continued till afternoon. Wind was also strong today. In afternoon the wind started to increase and its velocity might have crossed 100 kmph. I knew that there was going to be a strong storm coming to Groningen in the evening and also national lever alert were made. We were advised to be remain indoor in the evening. Instead of normal biking, I took bus for my home return. Storm did came but it didn't do much damage in Groningen. In other part of Netherlands and Europe, it did damage. 30+ people have died in Europe in various accident due to the storm. The storm is named as "Kyrill". Many public transport was halted or was delayed.
The strong wind continued till late in the night. Temperature remained around 10 degree.
